RESEARCH

I am a recent PhD graduate in Psychology from Northeastern University. My thesis work focused on untangling how neuroinflammation can cause adolescent behavioral impairment caused by early stress experiences, such as maternal separation. 

SCIENCE COMMUNICATION

Apart from research, my passion lies in disseminating and communicating technical and scientific reports of relevance to academic and general audiences. I am a science writer and digital media coordinator for the National Human Genome Research Institute at the NIH. My work has been published by Massive, Pacific Standard, OceanBites, SciShow, Lateral Magazine, Quartzy, and Windsor of Change.
